Lab source files
Emergency fallback when GitHub is not possible
ImportantNormal path: GitHub fork + Codespaces
Every trainee should use GitHub for labs — fork the repo and open a Codespace (Prerequisites § Steps 2–3). That is how dbt, Databricks Git folders, and Snowflake workspaces are designed for this workshop.
Do not use this page unless your facilitator told you to — for example, you genuinely cannot get a GitHub account or fork access before training day, and they approved an emergency workaround.
NoteHow to use the bundles (facilitator-approved only)
- Download the ZIP for your current module — folder paths match exercise instructions (
databricks/notebooks/…,snowflake/sql/setup/…, etc.). - For short SQL scripts, expand View & copy below — paste into a Snowflake worksheet or editor.
- Databricks notebooks (
.py): download the ZIP and import into your workspace — they are too large to paste comfortably in the browser. .env.templateis included in most bundles — use Exercise: dbt § Configure.envwhen you reach Module 4.
This path is slower (manual copy/import, local Python setup). If you can still get GitHub, stop here and complete Prerequisites § Step 2 instead.
