• Aiven account created at aiven.io
• Kafka cluster mhp-de-workshop-kafka provisioned (Free plan, region azure-westeurope)
• SSL certificates downloaded: ca.pem, service.cert, service.key
• Service URI noted: kafka-xxxxx.aivencloud.com:12345
• Do NOT start User Activity generator yet — start on the morning of Module 8 (4-hour max)
