Databricks CLI & Secrets (Module 8)

Requires Databricks workspace and Aiven credentials.

• Databricks CLI installed and authenticated: databricks configure --token
• PAT (Personal Access Token) generated: Settings → User Settings → Access Tokens
• workshop-scope secrets scope created: databricks secrets create-scope --scope workshop-scope
• All 5 secrets added to scope: aiven-bootstrap-servers, aiven-ca-cert, aiven-client-cert, aiven-client-key, aiven-topic
• Secrets READ ACL — put-acl for workshop_trainees_2026 and workshop_trainer_2026 on workshop-scope
